Apple Dessert With Cinnamon Sauce


Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • - 3 Apples
  • - 1 lemon
  • - 3 cups water (to keep apple colors)
  • - 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • - 10 cloves
  • - 2 ½ cups brown sugar
  • - 2 cups of water

For the sauce

  • - ½ pint of heavy cream
  • - 2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. First mix 3 cups of water and the juice of 1 lemon, peel and take cores out from the apples, keep apples in the lemon juice, and water mix. This will prevent them to get darkened.

  2. Put apples in a pan and add water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Cook until apples get soft.

  3. Take apples out and keep cooking remaining water until getting syrup texture, add heavy cream, ground cinnamon, and sugar and stir for 15 minutes.

  4. Pour the cinnamon sauce on apples and sprinkle some pistachios for garnish.
